Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is one of the oldest cities in the United States of America. It is where the Declaration of Independence was signed, the United States of America wrote the Constitution, and is the home of culture, a United States Mint, and professional sports.

No!
Not an international travel attraction.
Too small of a city, probaly could’nt handle the cost and infrastructure changes.

Look at Detroit. It was the same thing Philly is experiencing now that ruined our nomination for the Olympics.

Sure! The markets and the hotels in Philly are great. I think it would be a nice spot. Plus….its close to NJ and that would make it an easy trip for me!

No. Philly is a great city, but it will cost WAY too much money and it doesn’t have the resources. Atlanta was able to host it, so possibility … Philly could barely handle RNC a few years back. And think about all of the problems and politics that got kicked up with building the stadiums a few years back.
I think because of the politics, the cost, lack of land space, lack of infrastructure, and that the people of the greater Philadelphia region would not want to be THAT inconvenienced for so long.

What city would want to host the Olympics? It is a money losing proposition.

Not with the Schukyill Expressway the way it is. They would have to find a way to expand that road to get people around the city.
